The team chat workspace

Available

One screen at /chat brings internal channels, direct messages, real-time delivery, and presence together, so conversations happen inside FrontLine instead of a separate tool. The left sidebar lists your channels and DMs with unread badges and presence dots; the main pane is the live message thread with a composer.

For the operator

You open the channel or DM you need from the sidebar, see who is around from the presence dots, and read the thread as messages arrive in real time. In the composer you type @ to mention a teammate from the people directory, and the name drops in as a highlighted chip whose identity travels with the message. You start a new DM by searching that same directory in a slide-out, spin up a channel when a topic needs its own space, and open channel settings to rename it, set the topic, manage members, or archive it. Your own header status lets you set yourself Available, Away, or Busy, and shows whether your connection is Live or Offline.

Business impact

Internal coordination stays inside the platform where the work already lives, next to the clients and lines of business it is about, instead of scattering across a separate chat tool. Because chat sits behind the same permissions as the rest of the product, external client accounts never see it.
